Dr. Ryan Edmunds graduated from Brigham Young University and then attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He continued his education by completing the periodontics residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. His emphasis during residency was the regeneration of bone and soft tissue to save teeth and to prepare for dental implants. During residency he completed a Master of Science degree with his research in ridge augmentation grafting for dental implants and also obtained certification in IV sedation.
Ryan and Kari Dawn Edmunds have loved living in Utah County and raising their five kids here since 2010, when they established our practice. They started Pinnacle Periodontics with a focus on our mission to provide positive personal experiences while educating and delivering the best periodontal care. Dr. Edmunds wants to thank everybody for the trust they continue to place in our growing team at Pinnacle Periodontics.

Practice Philosophy
I believe in doing things well the first time, using only proven techniques and the best and most researched materials. My guiding philosophy is to only recommend things I would do for my own family and to treat things conservatively. I believe that communication with the referring dentist is absolutely essential to successful outcomes for my patients – in regenerating lost bone and gum tissues and in preparing for and placing dental implants so that patients can have functional and esthetically pleasing tooth replacement options.
